Klepon (glutinous rice ball) Ingredients 220g glutinous rice flour 170ml water 1/2 tsp pandan paste or a few drop green colouring 130 palm sugar, chopped A pinch of salt for the dough. 120g fresh coconuts grated steam with A pinch of salt Method . In a bowl, mix the pandan paste, salt & water. Make a well in the centre of the flour. Add in the water mixture slowly and knead until smooth. Pinch out a portion of the dough about small coin size. Faltten the dough and fill the centre with palm sugar. Wrap the dough around the sugar to seal and make a ball with your hands. Do the same thing for the rest of the dough. Boil some water in medium sucepan. When the water start bubbling, put the glutinous rice ball into the water. After the ball float to the surface, cook another 2 minutes then remove from the boiling water using strainer. Coat the glutinous rice ball with steam coconut grated and serve.
